North Shore Lake Tahoe
The North Shore of Lake Tahoe offers hiking, biking, beaches, restaurants, bars, shopping and much more! When we say “North Shore”, we mean the area from Kings Beach to Tahoe City on the CA side of the state line. Locals usually refer to Incline Village (the Nevada side) by its name.
On the North Shore you’ll find:
- More sun and less snow than the West Shore or South Lake Tahoe
- A lifetime of hiking, biking and nordic trails both in U.S. Forest Service land and at Tahoe XC
- Great public beaches
- Charming Old Tahoe towns and plentiful options for dining & shopping
- A wide variety of homeowner’s associations with waterfront amenities, or stand-alone homes without HOA fees
