Squaw Valley

Squaw Valley, also known as Olympic Valley, sits northwest of Tahoe City off of Highway 89. This community is home to several smaller sub-divisions but is most commonly known for Squaw Valley Ski Resort, and for being the site of the first live-televised Winter Olympics in 1960. There is access to plenty of hiking trails and bike paths in the summer.
